Phase Change describes the shifting from solid to soft condition when reaching a specific temperature. It is a wax-based thermally conductive material. It begins to melt and flow at temperatures between 45°C and 55°C. It is available in different material thicknesses and delivery forms.
Advantage: by using PCM there is no bleeding of material at the edges. The liquid phase of the material can fill interface irregularities with better efficiency than traditional gap fillers, while in solid condition at room temperature, it is more durable and easier to handle during assembly.

- Unevenness between two matching surfaces will even out.
- Minimises material thickness of thermally conductive product.
