OptoLock® POF Transceivers
Supplier: Firecomms
Technology type: Transceivers
Firecomms OptoLock Plastic Optic Fibre (POF) transceivers feature a patented method for connecting bare POF directly to the transceiver without the need for additional connectorisation. This extremely fast and simple way of creating a fibre optic link in an industrial environment leads to both cost savings during installation and later in upgrade or during maintenance.
OptoLock transceivers are available for analogue, DC to 50 MBd and 10 to 250 Mbps applications to include automation and industrial control, industrial and robotic links, voltage isolation, and sensing.
The transceivers have UL 94 V-0 flame retardant connector housings.
