HR series high resolution camera modules

The HR Series is a family of high-performance industrial camera modules designed for applications that require both ultra-high resolution and fast data transfer. Each model combines a large-format CMOS sensor with a powerful interface to stream very high image data volumes efficiently. The series is engineered for demanding machine vision tasks where stable imaging performance is critical. An integrated thermoelectric cooling and heating system with dust-sealed ventilation helps regulate sensor temperature and reduce noise during long operating periods.

Multiple interface options, including 10GigE Vision, Camera Link, and CoaXPress up to CXP-12, support flexible system integration. The M58 lens mount can be adapted for common F-mount and EF-mount lenses, expanding optical choices for different imaging setups. With resolutions up to 122 megapixels, a single camera can cover large fields of view while preserving fine detail. This makes the HR Series well suited for metrology, detailed inspection, and large-area monitoring in industrial and scientific environments.

FAQs

for HR series high resolution camera modules

HR Series cameras offer resolutions up to 122 megapixels and data throughput up to 50 Gbit/s. This combination allows a single camera to capture very large amounts of detail while still supporting fast inspection workflows.

The series is available with multiple high-speed interfaces, including 10GigE Vision, Camera Link, and CoaXPress variants such as CXP-6 and CXP-12. This gives system designers flexibility when integrating the camera into different machine vision architectures.

Integrated thermoelectric cooling and heating helps keep the image sensor at a stable temperature during continuous operation. This supports more consistent image quality, lower noise, and improved stability when ambient conditions or workload change.

HR Series cameras use an M58 lens mount. With suitable adapter rings, the mount can also support popular F-mount and EF-mount lenses, giving users broad flexibility in lens selection.

Yes. Each camera includes at least 128 MB of internal image memory. This onboard buffer helps manage burst capture and protects against frame loss caused by temporary host or network delays.

The HR Series includes a wide range of in-camera functions such as shading correction, defect pixel correction, ROI selection, binning, lookup tables (LUT), gamma adjustment, and offset control. These tools help optimise image quality directly on the camera.

The cameras provide industrial TTL and 24 V tolerant I/O, RS232, advanced trigger and logic functions, sequencer support, timers, and an integrated 4-channel LED strobe controller. These features enable precise coordination of exposure, triggers, and lighting.

The HR Series is well suited for precision optical metrology, detailed quality inspection, large-area monitoring, electronics and semiconductor inspection, scientific imaging, and other applications that require very high resolution with fast data transfer.
