BaseSpion
Supplier: Viso Systems
Technology type: Light Test and Measurement
Every Viso goniospectrometer system has a fast spectrometer sensor with cutting-edge grating technology. This means that the Viso systems can measure not only lumen, and light distributions: all colour data (e.g. CRI, CCT, TM30) and colour over the angle. The benefit of this is a Viso goniospectrometer means that it will make an integrating sphere redundant.
The spectrometer enables the system to measure over a continuous smooth goniometer movement, no stopping to take measurements. A complete c-plane measurement is done in 30 seconds, with the full 3D distribution field of any lamp or luminaire and comprehensive LDT and IES simulation files.
The BaseSpion is the perfect solution for the laboratory that needs light measurements in a compact system. The BaseSpion is the best choice for LED chips, modules, panels, downlights, bulbs, and spots.
The Viso goniospectrometer has the drivers and power analyser all built-in. Just connect via USB to any PC or laptop and obtain results in 30 seconds.
The free Viso Light Inspector software can be download from Viso Systems website. The software is an intuitive interface that shows all measured data and graphics to give you a fast overview.
The Viso system makes the data acquisition time for a light measurement fast. With the built-power analyser and accessories such as Viso LabFlicker and Viso LabTemp your measurements will include all data in a single file.

Accessories Description |
System Compatible with |
---|---|---|
LabFlicker |
The LabFlicker connects directly to the Viso Light Inspector software as a stand-alone device. The LabFlicker calculates SVM, PstLM, flicker percentage, flicker index, flicker frequency, and JA8 flicker data in real-time. When used with the other Viso Systems, it allows the amalgamation of all measurement results in one report. |
LabSpion, BaseSpion and LightSpion. |
LabTemp |
The LabTemp hub allows you to log your ambient temperatures and up to three devices via standard probes, allows up to 3 probes. The LabTemp is able to be mounted on all steel surfaces via strong permanent magnets.
