One of the most cost-effective and user-friendly ways of adding global wireless connectivity to a design is through an embedded cellular module or Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology. Both of these can overcome the challenges of device cost, power consumption, coverage and capacity which can be particularly difficult barriers for low-cost or battery-operated devices.

Cellular modems and gateways
Modems, routers and gateways are the quickest, most convenient way of enabling wireless capabilities by providing remote configuration, deployment, monitoring and management. Modems use an existing serial or USB port to connect and provide direct access to the cloud in minutes.
For products with an Ethernet port or Wi-Fi connectivity, gateways provide the same easy access with even greater design flexibility.
We offer both embedded and external IoT dedicated gateways that are industrial-grade solutions with secure connectivity and remote management that require minimal engineering effort and allow you to add fully integrated secure connectivity and control quickly to both new and legacy machinery.

Offering network connectivity via a number of wired and wireless interfaces, including but not limited to Ethernet, cellular, Wi-Fi and Zigbee. This also includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) and GPS functionality and available with IP67-rated enclosures for outdoor usage and can be preloaded with firmware to your requirements/configurations.
The ISM radio bands are portions of the radio spectrum reserved internationally for industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) purposes other than telecommunications. Typical European ISM frequencies are 433MHz, 868MHz, for worldwide usage 2.4GHz.
Despite the intent of the original allocations, in recent years the fastest-growing use of these bands has been for short-range, low power wireless communications systems, since these bands are often approved for such devices which can be used without a government license, as would otherwise be required for transmitters; ISM frequencies are often chosen for this purpose as they already have interference issues.
Cordless phones, Bluetooth devices, near field communication (NFC) devices, garage door openers, baby monitors and wireless computer networks (Wi-Fi) may all use the ISM frequencies, although these low power transmitters are not considered to be ISM devices.

GNSS and GPS

Benefit from ultra-compact solutions
For applications requiring a higher degree of flexibility and customisation with low-power consumption, System-in-package (SiP) solutions are ideal. These SiP solutions have built-in antennas and stand-alone baseband processors with integrated transceivers in a single compact form factor and can be integrated through a variety of interfaces, such as UART, SPI and I2C. Up to 20 GPIOs enabling the connection of multiple sensors, switches and status LEDs to the SiP, reducing overall power consumption. Perfect for devices including wearables, headsets, speakers, keyboards, remote controls, coffee machines & thermostats.
