Antenna solutions
ProAnt provides innovative and high-performance antenna solutions, suitable for M2M and IoT applications. Their technology is currently utilised by leading companies such as Lantronix, Raspberry Pi and Espressif.
ProAnt's embedded and external antenna product line ranges from 150 MHz up to 6 GHz and cover technologies such as:
- GSM/UMTS/LTE
- GPS/GLONASS and other GNSS services
- WLAN/Bluetooth/Zigbee
- LPWAN
- Various ISM bands
Advanced testing and refined designs
ProAnt can also support, test and refine your design in their cutting-edge development laboratory and anechoic chamber. Match, tune and measure antenna performance to get the best possible results from a design, whether it features a standard, modified or custom solution.
You would be provided a full report on the matching circuits used, the performance and the radiation pattern of an individual product.
Along with our own European Wireless Technical Competence Centre, we can also design, specify and manage the production of custom solutions from ProAnt, to meet your exact requirements.

Embedded OnBoard™ SMD antenna
The Onboard™ SMD antenna family are surface mounted sheet metal antennas, with packaged tape on reel, making them suitable for high volume manufacturing.
One of their key features which eliminates the need of a dielectric substrate, is the capacitively-loaded footprint of the supporting pins on the antenna, that significantly reduces losses and increases the performance. Another benefit of ProAnt's OnBoard™ SMD antennas is the space that can be utilised underneath the antenna to place other components.
Key features:
- Frequency stability
- Relatively omnidirectional radiation pattern
- Mixed Polarity
Embedded InSide™ Internal antenna
Ideal for inside mounting on non-conductive surfaces such as plastic, ProAnt's Embedded InSide™ antennas are a PCB type antenna paired with a cable and connector and are available in various frequencies.
Two key features of ProAnt's Inside™ antennas is the adhesive tape that is included to enable it to be mounted, and the larger antenna size, which provides enhanced performance. Customisation is also available on the cable, cable length, and the connector.
Frequency Ranges:
- 868/915 MHz
- GSM/3G
- 2.4 GHz
- 2.4/5 GHz
- NB-IoT
External Ex-It antennas
ProAnt's External Ex-It antennas provide exceptionally strong performance as they can be mounted externally via a short cable out of the box. They come in various frequencies and can be customised with a range of different options upon request.
Frequency Ranges:
- 169 MHz
- 434 MHz
- 868 MHz
- GSM/3G
- 2.4 GHz
- 2.4/5 GHz
Custom solutions
We can also design, specify and manage the production of custom solutions from ProAnt, to meet your exact requirements through the use of our own European Wireless Technical Competence Centre. ProAnt can support, test and refine a design using their cutting-edge anechoic chamber to further refine and measure performance for the best possible results.
