Global provider of optical transceivers
Long-standing partner
Acal BFi has been Coretek's sole distributor in Europe since 2004. We strongly value their customer-centric approach and wide range of high-quality products. Their strength in product customisation and flexibility of design enables our fibre-optics experts to meet bespoke customer requirements.
Expertise in a wide range of markets
Coretek have expertise across a wide range of markets, including industrial, energy, automation, broadband communications, telecommunications, data communications, military and medical. Their strategy for the highest possible vertical integration spans from die/wire bonding, SMT, optical sub-assembly, to transceivers and subsystems.
Customer-centric approach
Coretek's product roadmap is based on listening to their customers' needs, understanding their markets, and developing a tailored portfolio. Striving to provide customers with the highest-quality products and services, Coretek is continuously improving and innovating production processes to ensure efficiency, automation and quality with full adherence to industry standards. Customer satisfaction is the driving factor to over-achieve on these high goals.
Diverse range of products
By offering customers a choice of either multiple supplier agreement (MSA) form factors, such as 1x9, SFF, SFP, SFP+, XFP, QSFP+ or customised footprints, Coretek are able to support a diverse range of products that are used by many customers in demanding applications where long-term availability of supply is key.

Industrial transceivers
Coretek specialise in optical transceivers for the industrial Ethernet, energy, process automation and control markets. All products have been designed with a focus on achieving low-power consumption over a wide industrial operating temperature range, and beyond. EMI, ESD and isolation performance have all been optimised to meet the challenging requirements of industrial applications.
Products are available with conformal coating, additional shielding or special mechanical robustness demanded of these rugged installations. Coretek's abilities to create custom designs based on old mechanical footprints, low data-rates and non-typical connector types provide customers with a solution that can be available for many years to come.
Video transceivers
Coretek's extensive range of video transceivers include many form factors, such as 1x9, SFP and QSFP+. SDI pathological patterns for SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M serial rates include SD-SDI compliant link at 270Mb/s, HD-SDI compliant link at 1.485Gb/s and 3G-SDI compliant link at 2.97Gb/s.
A variety of different optical technologies covering distances from just a few kilometres up to 80, including CWDM, are available in both commercial and extended temperature ranges. All products are extensively tested in production to meet the challenging requirements.
Custom transceivers
Coretek's expertise in customer-specific design goes back over fifteen years, with many varying form-factor adaptations, including modules with extra electronic functions (such as improved tolerances on diagnostic monitoring) or features (with new PCB designs or layout changes), modifications to the mechanical design, or the addition of special coatings or pigtailing modules.
The flexibility of the modern factory in Zhunan allows custom manufacturing from very small production volumes to large-scale, semi-automated processes.
Datacom / telecom transcievers
Coretek's extensive range of datacom and telecom transceivers include the 1x9, GBIC, SFF, SFP, SFP+, XFP and QSFP+.
The data ranges covered include fast Ethernet (100Mb/s) through to fibre channel (40Gb/s). Both commercial and industrial operating temperature ranges are available with reaches from just a few metres up to 200.
The use of various technologies for both the TOSA and ROSA allows for a complete product portfolio covering the most common Ethernet (IEEE), fibre channel, SONET/SDH, PON and FTTx standards. CWDM, DWDM and bi-di technologies complement the shorter-haul components, allowing the most flexibility in network configuration.
