A minimum airflow of 300 LFM is required. The documented airflow direction should be followed, and the equipment designer must ensure that component temperatures remain within specified limits.
The output must be derated linearly between 50°C and 70°C. At an ambient temperature of 70°C, the permitted output is 50% of the applicable full-load rating.
The NCF660 includes a 5 V, 1 A standby output, a DC OK signal and a main-output inhibit input. The main output remains enabled when the inhibit input is open or logic high and is disabled when the input is shorted to RTN or driven logic low.
The series includes overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection. Overvoltage protection operates between 110% and 130% of nominal output and requires the AC input to be recycled, while short-circuit protection uses hiccup-mode operation.
