The FSP045M-DUA medical desktop power supply is designed for equipment that requires regulated USB-C Power Delivery from an external AC/DC adapter. It provides selectable 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V outputs, with total continuous power limited to 45W. A 90–264 VAC input range allows the same power architecture to be used across different regional mains supplies. The Class I construction uses an IEC 320/C14 inlet and protective earth connection. Medical safety provisions include 2 MOPP isolation from input to output, controlled leakage current and IEC 60601-1 compliance. Its compact desktop enclosure is suited to diagnostic, monitoring, laboratory and home healthcare equipment where the connected device supports the available USB Power Delivery profiles. Integrated voltage, current, short-circuit and temperature protection also supports controlled operation during electrical fault conditions.

The FSP045M-DUA is a medical-grade external AC/DC adapter for equipment that requires regulated USB-C Power Delivery. It combines a universal 90–264 VAC input, Class I construction with protective earth and IEC 60601-1 aligned isolation features in a compact desktop format.
Designed for compatible medical electrical equipment, it supports USB Power Delivery output profiles from 5V to 20V with up to 45W continuous output power. This makes it suitable for diagnostic, monitoring, laboratory and home healthcare systems that need a controlled external power source.

FAQs
for FSP045M – 90-264 VAC medical desktop power supply
The adapter provides 5V, 9V, 12V and 15V profiles at up to 3A. Its 20V profile is rated at up to 2.25A, giving a maximum continuous output of 45W.
Yes. It is a Class I power supply with an IEC 320/C14 AC inlet, so the selected mains lead and installation must provide a suitable protective earth connection.
The design provides 2 MOPP between the AC input and DC output, with a withstand voltage of 4,000 VAC. It also provides 1 MOPP between the input and protective earth, rated at 1,500 VAC.
Touch current is rated at no more than 100µA, while earth leakage current is rated at no more than 150µA. Both values apply at 264 VAC and 63Hz.
Overcurrent and short-circuit protection use automatic recovery. The output can resume once the fault condition has been removed, subject to the connected system operating within the specified ratings.
No. Overvoltage and overtemperature protection use latch-off behaviour. The input supply must be reset after the cause of the fault has been corrected.
It is rated for operation at altitudes up to 5,000m. The operating temperature and other environmental limits must still be observed.
The unit is evaluated for IEC 60601-1-2 medical EMC requirements and EN 55011 Class B conducted and radiated emissions. It also includes specified immunity levels for ESD, electrical fast transients, surge, conducted disturbances, magnetic fields and voltage dips.
The FSP045M-DUA uses an IEC 320/C14 AC inlet. The corresponding FSP045M-DUB version uses an IEC 320/C6 inlet while retaining the same 45W USB Power Delivery format.
The specified operating range is 0°C to +40°C, with continuous rated output available at 40°C. The storage range is -20°C to +85°C, and humidity must remain non-condensing.
