SOING Photonics’ CO₂ laser sources provide reliable, high-quality infrared laser output for industrial material processing applications.

Based on RF-excited CO₂ laser technology, the range combines compact construction, stable output and high processing precision, making it suitable for integration into laser marking, engraving and cutting systems.

SOING offers CO₂ laser sources across a range of power levels and configurations, including compact 10 W, 30 W and 60 W-class solutions, with selected models available at 10.6 μm, 10.2 μm and 9.3 μm wavelengths. This gives system designers flexibility to select the appropriate source for their material and processing requirements.

CO₂ lasers are particularly effective for processing many non-metallic materials, including plastics, wood, rubber, leather, textiles, paper and other organic materials. Depending on the laser configuration and application, they can also be used for specialised cutting and other industrial processes.

Precision CO₂ laser technology for industrial applications

A CO₂ laser generates its beam using a gas mixture containing carbon dioxide and other gases within the laser resonator. The resulting infrared laser radiation is typically around 10.6 μm, although alternative wavelengths such as 9.3 μm and 10.2 μm can be advantageous for particular materials and processes.
