The 4100 series high-temperature cavity blackbody from Santa Barbara Infrared (SBIR) is a precision infrared (IR) calibration source designed for high-temperature electro-optical testing applications. Operating from 50°C to 1000°C absolute temperature, it delivers a highly stable, uniform radiative output using an advanced cavity design that maximises emissivity and measurement accuracy.
This system is specifically engineered for radiometric calibration, IR sensor characterisation, and high-performance EO/IR system validation, where accuracy, repeatability, and fast test cycles are critical.
The unique cavity architecture significantly improves both uniformity and thermal response (slew rate), reducing overall test time while maintaining high measurement fidelity.

Range features
A high level overview of what this range offers
- Wide high-temperature operating range (50°C to 1000°C) – Enables testing of sensors and systems across demanding thermal conditions.
