14000Z Series Target Projectors

Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc.’s 14000Zi Series Target Projectors are high-performance, turnkey electro-optical (E-O) test systems designed to simulate infrared (IR) scenes for the evaluation and calibration of imaging sensors. These systems are primarily used for testing FLIR systems and other IR imaging technologies, delivering precise, repeatable target projection for laboratory, production, depot, and field environments.

A turnkey, fully integrated E-O test solution delivering high-accuracy IR scene simulation with stable radiometric performance, built on a modular architecture for custom configurations and enhanced with optional IRWindows™ software for closed-loop automated testing.

Built from a modular combination of collimators, blackbodies, and motorised target wheels, the platform provides a flexible and scalable solution for demanding test scenarios.

Typical markets and applications include:

  • Defence and security (thermal imaging, targeting systems)
  • Aerospace and avionics sensor validation -Industrial inspection and automation
  • R&D and photonics laboratories
  • Environmental and surveillance imaging systems
