With Edge, the Magnetics Inc. research and development team have improved the performances of High Flux by increasing 30% the already optimum DC Bias and reducing by 40% power losses.
The high saturation flux density (15,000 gausses) and improved low losses of Edge cores make them the best material for applications involving high power, or high AC bias at high power frequencies and compact dimensions such as switching regulator inductors, in-line noise filters, flyback transformers, Power Factor Correction (PFC) for telecom servers or high-density rack mount power suppliers.
