Raytac’s AN54LV series is a compact Bluetooth Low Energy module family developed for embedded designs that need strong wireless performance in a very small footprint. Based on Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF54L15 SoC and recommended by Nordic as a third-party module solution, the series gives developers a scalable route into next-generation low-power connectivity for space-constrained products. Depending on the variant, the AN54LV family is available with a chip antenna, PCB antenna, u.FL connector for an external antenna, or an antenna pin for custom RF design.
The modules are Bluetooth 6.0 certified and support additional multiprotocol wireless technologies including IEEE 802.15.4 and 2.4 GHz proprietary modes, making them suitable for a wide range of IoT, industrial, smart device and low-power wireless applications. Global approvals including FCC, IC, CE, Telec, KC, SRRC, NCC, RCM and WPC can help simplify international product development, while the broad interface set supports straightforward connection to sensors, peripherals and embedded control functions.
At hardware level, the AN54LV series combines a 128 MHz Arm processor with TrustZone technology, 1.5 MB Flash, 256 KB RAM and 32 GPIOs in an ultra-compact format. It supports QSPI, SPI, UART, I2C, I2S, PDM, PWM, ADC and NFC, giving designers the flexibility to build highly integrated wireless systems without sacrificing capability. Most variants support operation from -40°C to +105°C, while the AN54LV-U15 is specified from -40°C to +85°C, which is worth considering during module selection.

Range features
A high level overview of what this range offers
-
Ultra-compact 8.4 × 6.4 × 1.5 mm module – saves PCB area and enables integration into very space-constrained end products.
-
Integrated chip antenna – removes the need for discrete antenna design, reducing RF complexity and time-to-market.
-
nRF54L15-based Bluetooth 6.0 SoC – combines a modern wireless platform with strong performance and low power consumption in a single chip.
-
128 MHz Cortex-M33 processor with TrustZone – provides ample processing capability and supports secure partitioning between trusted and non-trusted code.
-
Up to 1.5 MB flash and 256 KB RAM – offers generous space for protocol stacks, application firmware and over-the-air update strategies.
-
Multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio (Bluetooth 6.0, IEEE 802.15.4-2020, proprietary) – allows one hardware design to support Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Zigbee, Matter, ANT-type and custom 2.4 GHz protocols.
-
High receiver sensitivity and up to +8 dBm transmit power – delivers robust wireless links and longer range, even in noisy RF environments.
-
Rich digital and analogue interfaces (QSPI, SPI, UART, I²C, I²S, PDM, PWM, ADC, NFC) – simplifies direct connection of sensors, audio devices, user interfaces and external memories without extra controllers.
-
Up to 32 flexible GPIOs – gives designers freedom to tailor the module to a wide variety of product configurations.
-
Wide 1.7 V to 3.6 V supply range – supports both battery-powered and regulated supply systems.
-
Operating temperature from -40 °C to +105 °C – makes the module suitable for industrial and harsh-environment applications.
-
Advanced platform security features – including memory protection, cryptographic acceleration, secure key handling, tamper detection, secure boot concepts and watchdog monitoring, helping to meet modern cyber security expectations.
-
Designed for alignment with major global certifications (FCC, CE and others) – supports faster market access by leveraging a pre-tested radio module rather than a discrete RF design.
