The Arcoptix OEM FTIR spectrometers are specially designed for system integrators or customers who are looking for a modular solution to realise their own design.
The OEM spectrometers consist of 3 modules which can be combined differently, depending on the required wavelength range:
- Interferometer-Module (FTIR-OEM000)
- Detector-Module (FTIR-OEM100)
- Light source-Module (FTIR-OEM200)

Operating Principle
FTIR OEM modules are designed for integration into advanced measurement configurations where a sampling system (such as a gas cell) is integrated into the optical path of the FTIR system between the interferometer and the detector. The modules can be easily mounted on a prototyping board (suitable accessories for attaching the modules to M6 breadboards with a standard grid size of 25 mm is available as an option); a schematic representation of the beam path is shown below. The IR beam coming out of the interferometer module has a diameter of 12.7 mm and a divergence of approx. 28 mrad (half angle). The detector module contains a parabolic mirror that focuses the light on the IR detector. the sampling system is placed between the FTIR-OEM000 interferometer module and the FTIR-OEM100 IR detector module, both of which can accommodate a 30 mm Cage system.
A software development kit, with examples in C, Labview and Matlab, is also supplied.
