- ARCoptix
Arcoptix develops and manufactures miniature FTIR spectrometer for the range of:
- 2-6 microns –>1700-5000 cm-1
- 1.5-8.5microns –> 1200-6700 cm-1
- 2-12microns –> 830-5000 cm-1

Functionality
The FT-IR Rocket is a robust, small, and powerful FT-IR spectrometer with a compact footprint. The FT-IR Rocket can be used with SMA905 fibers or in free-beam mode thanks to its removable fiber coupler.
The permanently aligned interferometer of the FTIR spectrometer and its solid-state reference laser ensure that the highest accuracy is achieved with every scan. The system has high stability in both wavelength and intensity scales, making it an ideal tool for highly reproducible chemometric analyses.
The FT Rocket infrared spectrometer is offered in 3 standard versions:
- FT-MIR 2 – 6μm,
- FT-MIR 1.5 – 8.5μm
- FT-IR 2 – 12μm.
All offer a resolution of 4 cm⁻¹. Optional high-resolution versions with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹ and 0.5 cm⁻¹ are also available.
The main differences of the FTIR spectrometers lie in the beam splitter material (CaF2 or ZnSe) and the sensitivity of the detector: the narrower-band detector 2-6μm has significantly better sensitivity than longer wavelength versions.
Removable fiber coupler for operating the spectrometer with SMA905 optical fibers or in free-beam mode (Aperture Ø: 12.7mm – Acceptance angle: 3.2°)
