Mercury Cadmium Telluride Multi-Element Arrays

InfraRed Associates offer a complete line of photoconductive MTC (Mercury Cadmium Telluride (HgCdTe) LN2 and TE cooled detectors. The wavelength response can be varied by adjusting the alloy composition of this ternary compound. These multi-element arrays can be used in the wavelength range between 1 micron and 20 microns.

A high level overview of what this range offers

  • These custom multi-element arrays are available with up to 128 elements in a linear or 2D format
  • An element separation of only 12 microns can be provided
  • The element dimensions are either 0.2mm x 0.5mm or 0.5mm x 1mm
  • Customer-specific variants with different pixel dimensions, element numbers, or changed wavelength ranges are available on request
  • In addition to the MCT array, complete solutions including electronics and spectrographs designed especially for femtosecond, pump-probe 2D, time-resolved vibrational, or absorptions spectroscopy technical solutions can be designed and created. Here every single pulse can be spectrally measured, even for lasers with rep rates up to 100kHz
