When you need to measure current, several techniques are available in the industry. All have the same process. They convert the signal to measure at a standard level, which in turn permits the use of standard measurement instruments and relays.
Previously marketed under the name “Garre”, Noratel offers a comprehensive range of current transformers. Standard models are available as encapsulated versions (UL94-V0) in a range of different flavors all manufactured and tested according to IEN60044-1 (VDE 0414/1).
Current transformers can be supplied for primary currents from 10amps to 10000amps and accuracy classes from 0.1% and higher for specified burdens and overcurrent values.
They are cut for AC low-frequency measurements and system installations on bus bars or distribution cables.
In addition, customised solutions are possible in accordance with international standards (IEC, ANSI, and BS).
