The SX1212 is a low-cost single-chip RF transceiver designed for wireless communication in the 300 MHz to 510 MHz frequency range. It is optimised for very low power consumption, using only 3 mA in receiver mode. The chip includes an integrated baseband modem that supports data rates of up to 150 kb/s.
For data handling, the SX1212 features a 64-byte FIFO, packet handling capabilities, automatic CRC generation, and data whitening. Its highly integrated design minimises the need for external components while still offering flexibility, as all major RF communication parameters are programmable, with most of them capable of being adjusted dynamically.
The device complies with regulatory standards in both Europe (ETSI EN 300-220 V2.1.1) and North America (FCC Part 15.247 and 15.249).
