The Photron SA-Z series is the top-of-the-line model in the Photron portfolio. It offers a sensor with 1024 x 1024 pixels with a maximum frame rate of 21.000fps. 2.1 million frames per second can be captured with reduced resolutions and the minimum shutter time is 159ns. The high sensitivity monochrome 50.000 ISO with a 12bit dynamic range offers the best possible imaging performance.
The SA-Z is a sealed body design. This ensures no particles and dust draw into the electronics/sensor compartment and cooling is managed by using heat pipe technology heatsink. The camera is very rugged and designed to withstand shock and vibration.
