The Advanced Energy Thyro Family comprises SCR power controller products with a proven track record spanning over 50 years. Renowned for precision and reliability, these controllers serve crucial industrial functions such as melting, heating, drying, and forming.

The series includes the Thyro-S, specifically engineered for transformer loads with adaptable PLC/PAC integration and DIN-rail mounting. Options for space efficiency, robust power regulation, advanced measurement capabilities and mains-load optimization, as well as offering diverse cooling options and user-friendly configuration.

Advanced Energy’s ERM series is specifically designed to meet the power demands and safety standard requirements of railway rolling stock applications. An advanced circuit topology gives the  ERM series a very high efficiency of up to 92 percent.

They're encapsulated in a compact quarter-brick form factor with a metal base plate to protect the module from atmospheric conditions without requiring an additional coating. The ERM series includes a reinforced insulation system to meet the general specification of high voltage input and low voltage output. Combined with high EMC immunity, ensures these dc-dc converters are ideal for the many demanding applications in railway and transport.

Advanced Energy offers the LCC series of fanless, fully enclosed AC-DC power supplies. With IP64 protection against the ingress of dust and water, a wide operating temperature range, and extensive protection against fault conditions, these products are ideal for demanding sealed box and outdoor applications.

With the absence of cooling fans which may increase dust and audible noise levels, and with full medical safety or industrial approvals, the LCC series can also be used for indoor applications including medical and aviation equipment. It is also applicable for high uptime and difficult to service equipment where fan failures can be costly. A universal AC input enables them to be used almost anywhere in the world. Customers have a choice of two mounting and cooling orientations: convection or conduction.

Advanced Energy's LGA series of digital DC/DC converters are extremely flexible and configurable with two independent outputs that can be enabled, adjusted, configured, monitored, and controlled autonomously or can be connected to create one single output.

Both analog control and digital control functions are available, so converters can be controlled with resistors or controlled and monitored by using the industry-standard PMBus digital interface. This range is ideal for applications such as graphics, data, or video processing, using high power devices, such as server processors, FPGAs, supercomputers, network, storage, and telecom equipment.

Advanced Energy’s uMP series rivals the cost of non-configurable power supplies while providing market-leading density, efficiency, reliability, and agency approvals.

This range is designed for a wide range of medical, military, and industrial applications. It offers up to 1800W and can be configured for up to 12 outputs, both multiple and non-standard.

Designed for a wide range of medical and industrial applications, Advanced Energy’s iHP configurable intelligent power system provides accuracy, resolution, and stability as either a programmable voltage or current source.

It offers up to 24kW in 3kW increments and can be configured for up to 8 outputs using a wide variety of plug-in modules that address a large range of voltages and currents.
