Capacitive Accelerometers

Single-chip 3D accelerometers consist of a monolithic integrated MEMS structure which allows obtaining the lowest power consumption and small size available from the market.

This design with a standard CMOS process permits high-performance interconnection, smaller size and consequently lower cost. It also minimizes noises and allows for different low power modes (sleep, sniff, motion activated-wake up).

Typical applications include wearable consumer products, IoT devices, user interface control, gaming motion input, electronic compass tilt compensation for cell phones, game controllers, remote controls and portable media products.
