The adjustable focus laser module from ProPhotonix is compact and cylindrical for easy integration and precision is assured through user-adjustable focus. This high-performance laser module ensures that intensity and modulation control are now possible.
The 3D PRO™ adjustable focus laser is 19mm in diameter for easy integration into new and existing machine vision systems. The module offers excellent uniformity with line widths down to 40μm at 120mm which is ideal for inspection applications that demand a high degree of accuracy, for example, 3D measurement, dimensional scanning, high precision alignment, pointing, positioning, and automated inspection.
The laser is focused externally and designed for smooth adjustment with an internal lock-in mechanism for maintaining desired focal distance.
ProPhotonix’s adjustable laser modules are available with diode powers up to 100 mW and fan angles between 10° and 90°. Wavelengths range from 520nm to 850nm and include 635nm and 660nm. Electronic options consist of TTL modulation up to 100kHz and analogue power control for intensity adjustment.
