- Micrometals
Power conversion soft magnetic materials from Micrometals are based on carbonyl iron formations. The inherent high saturation flux density of iron combined with the distributed air gap produces a core material with high-energy storage. Typical applications for these specific materials include DC/DC converters, PFC Boost inductor,s or Differential Mode Chokes. It is one of the most cost-effective core materials available, comparable in cost to Sendust.
