Ferrites for EMI filters and broadband transformers
- Technology
- Ferrite cores
- Partner
- Magnetics Inc.
The most appropriate and cost-effective material for Common Mode Chokes (CMC) and signal transformers are ferrites that offer the highest impedance in the frequency band of the unwanted noise signals.
Broadband and pulse transformers benefit from high perm materials in addition to low losses, high Bsat, and good frequency response: all characteristics offered by Magnetics Inc. high perm materials.
J is medium perm general-purpose, well used for EMI filters and broadband transformers. W has set the industry standard for high perm materials offering 20-50% more impedance in filters also used in transformers. M has been designed for optimum impedance performance across frequency ranges, can be used in signal processing, broadband transformers, and EMI filters.
All materials are available in Toroids and in shapes like E, U, Pot Cores, RM, and EP.
