- Acal BFi kOr
kOr 156 products are made of an iron-based amorphous ribbon material which has been developed as a contemporary replacement for electrical steel (transformer plates). Low losses compared with steel laminations make components highly efficient in both purchasing and operational costs for low-frequency applications. Even mid-frequency applications with small ripples. With our expertise and in-depth technical knowledge, we can offer standard cut cores and a broad variety of customised shapes and finishing options for your application needs.

Range features
A high level overview of what this range offers
- Low losses compared with silicon steel
- High BS (1,56 T) – good linearity and frequency characteristics
- Effective permeability (hence: AL) and DC-tolerance adjustable with gaps
- Multi-cuts possible
- Applicable ideally for transformers up to about 5kHz
- Standard size cut cores match perfectly to standard bobbins
- Size and shape adjustable to space limitations
- Custom sizes possible according to ribbon dimensions
