High-performance Iron and Cobalt alloys for advanced applications

Only a select few Iron and Cobalt-based alloys hold significant technical and commercial relevance today. These alloys, produced as thin ribbons, can be shaped into various forms, including toroids, oval or rectangular shapes, E-cores, bars, and plates, making them highly versatile for numerous applications.

Cobalt-based alloys boast the best soft magnetic properties, making them ideal for use in current transformers (CT), high-quality signal transformers, filters, magnetic amplifiers (MagAmps) in Switched Mode Power Supplies, spike killers, and other specialized applications.

Our standard Iron-based material offers a contemporary and efficient alternative to electrical steel (Iron-Silicon). It is primarily used in 50/60Hz transformers and chokes for medium frequency and small ripple applications.
