Custom assembled to order at ACAL BFI’s facility in the UK are the Amphenol ‘418’ range of protection caps, for use with MIL-DTL-38999 III series connector plugs and receptacles.
Protecting against moisture and dust ingress, protection caps are commonly used on equipment that operates in extreme environments and can be supplied in the same material and plating as the connector for continued environmental and corrosion protection.
As an assembly partner to Amphenol, we can configure the exact specification you require from material and plating, lanyard type/ length and any specific termination style.
Custom kits of protection cap, connector and backshell are available.

- Can be supplied as cap only with no lanyard
- Lanyard termination options include a large eyelet for jam nut receptacles, a small eyelet for wall mount receptacles and crimp ferrule
