The AP500xA compact and portable RF analog signal generators from Keysight, enable you to characterise, and fully stress test your wireless devices. This range enables you to test devices up to 26 GHz quickly and confidently, with exceptional output power range, low phase noise, and fast switching speed.

The AP504xA and AP5042A single and multi-channel vector signal generators provide you with a combination of performance and versatility in a compact form factor. Leverage the excellent phase noise, spectral purity, fast switching speed, phase coherent multi-channel performance and vector modulation capability of these generators for an effective and cost-efficient tool in your lab. Range Features

Analogue Signal Generators:

  • 9kHz to 26GHz
  • Characterise devices thoroughly with up to +23 dBm output power and -130 dBc / Hz phase noise.
  • Accelerate testing rapid switching speeds down to 20 μs.
  • Generate a stabilised low-phase noise signal with micro-Hz resolution with an oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO).
  • Enhance testing with sweep, trigger functions, and user-programmable external reference frequency.
  • Upgrade your signal generator to a higher frequency or add more capabilities via a license key.
  • Operate easily with optimised user interface, including LCD touch screen and remote desktop software.

Vector Signal Generators:

  • 100 kHz to 4, 6, 12, 20, 40 GHz
  • Ultra-fast switching: <100 ns within mod BW, as fast as 2.6 µs (4 GHz), 3.1 µs (6 to 20 GHz), 5.9 µs (40 GHz)
  • Low phase noise: -142 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz, 10 kHz offset; -113 dBc/Hz at 10 GHz, 10 kHz offset
  • Harmonics: < -30 dBc; Non-harmonics: -50 dBc at 10 GHz
  • Standard Digital vector modulator: IQ BW 400 MHz (16bit)
  • Internal digital baseband generator: Sample Rate up to 500 MHz, 512 MSa IQ memory
  • FCP for IQ-data streaming, 125/250 Msa/s
  • Ext. analogue I/Q inputs: 50 MHz
  • Phase coherent, phase coherent switching
  • Multi-device waveform/trigger synchronisation: 6 GHz clock IN/OUT
