The AN7002Q Wi-Fi 6 module series provides an easy way to add high-performance, dual-band wireless networking to embedded systems. Built around a dedicated Wi-Fi 6 companion IC, it operates in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and supports 20 MHz channels with single-stream SISO operation. The module targets applications where an existing host processor needs reliable, secure and energy-efficient Wi-Fi connectivity without the complexity of discrete RF design.

It connects to the host through standard SPI or QSPI interfaces, with optional encryption, making integration straightforward for a wide range of microcontrollers and processors. Advanced Wi-Fi 6 features such as Target Wake Time and OFDMA help optimise performance and power usage in dense IoT deployments.
