The SparkLAN WPEQ-405AX is SparkLAN’s first Qualcomm-based Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) AP module, built on the QCN9074 chipset. It’s an enterprise-class solution supporting 4×4 MU-MIMO (4T4R) on the 5 GHz band with 160 MHz channels, reaching theoretical speeds up to 4.8 Gbps.
Unlike the typical Qualcomm reference design (PN02.1), the WPEQ-405AX shrinks the size to a full-size Mini PCIe form factor (50 mm × 30 mm) at 3.3 V, providing broader compatibility with existing platforms.
Supporting both AP and STA modes with 4 spatial streams, it’s ideal for high-performance applications like enterprise APs, UTM, public and transport hotspots, and industrial-grade access points with 4096-QAM and OFDMA for efficient data handling.
