The WL72917_8M from SparkLAN is a compact Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.4 A-IoT module designed for reliable wireless connectivity and energy efficiency in next-generation IoT applications. Powered by Silicon Labs’ chipset with an ARM Cortex-M4F core running up to 180 MHz, it includes AI/ML hardware acceleration for faster, low-power machine learning inference.

Key specs include 672 KB SRAM, 16 MB external PSRAM, 8 MB flash, advanced security with secure boot and hardware encryption (AES, RSA, ECC), and multiple embedded wireless stacks including Wi-Fi, BLE, and Matter-over-Wi-Fi. The module supports Wi-Fi Client, SoftAP, and STA concurrent modes, and modulation schemes like DSSS, OFDM, OFDMA, and GFSK.
