Operating in the 2.4 GHz band, the WL71340 supports Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy, Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4, and proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols. It is optimised for low-power communication and offers advanced BLE features such as LE Coded PHY (Long Range), LE 2Mbit, Advertising Extensions, and Multiple Advertisement Sets. The module also ensures longer battery life through ultra-low standby current and supports backward compatibility with Bluetooth 4.2 and earlier LE versions.
