The ISP4520 module offers a unique combination of two leading IoT wireless technologies—Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and LoRa—in a highly miniaturised, class-leading package. This dual-radio solution enables long-range data transmission via LoRa, while BLE provides a high-throughput local connection ideal for device configuration, commissioning, and updates via smartphones or tablets.
Built with best-in-class components, the module integrates a Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 SoC for BLE and a Semtech SX1261 (EU/AS) or SX1262 (US) chip for LoRa functionality. The nRF52’s onboard ARM Cortex-M4F processor with 512 KB flash delivers ample processing power for advanced applications.
Designed for ultra-low power operation, both the BLE and LoRa chips feature power-saving modes that support multi-year operation on a single coin-cell battery. The ISP4520 includes integrated antennas for both radios and comes pre-certified, making it a ready-to-deploy solution. It is supplied with a combined BLE and LoRaWAN stack, requiring only external sensors or host device connection to complete the system.
