The ISP3080 is a miniaturised module designed for RTLS, access control, indoor positioning, and security applications. It combines integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and dual-band Ultra-Wideband (UWB) antennas (5 and 9 GHz) for global coverage and ultra-precise localization—all in a compact 12 × 12 × 1.5 mm SiP package.
Built on the Qorvo/DecaWave QM33110 UWB transceiver and Nordic nRF52833 BLE SoC, it includes a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4, 512 kB flash, and 128 kB RAM. BLE 5.1 support enables direction finding and long-range connectivity, while UWB complies with IEEE 802.15.4.
Despite its size, the module integrates DC-DC converters, RF matching, decoupling capacitors, and crystals for both radios. Its unique dual-band antenna, developed by Insight SiP, supports both 2.4 GHz BLE and 6.5 / 8.0 GHz UWB within the same package.
Low power consumption and smart power management enable months of operation on a coin cell battery. A simple BLE-based interface allows over-the-air control, and an external UWB antenna can extend range for specific applications.
