A7136 Transceiver +20dBm, 1Mbps, QFN-24

The Amiccom A7136 is a highly integrated, low-power sub-1GHz CMOS transceiver designed for long-range wireless communication in industrial, metering, and smart automation applications. Its versatility makes it ideal for regions with different ISM band regulations, supporting frequencies from 169 MHz to 915 MHz, including 169.4/868.3 MHz for European M-Bus systems and 470 MHz for China’s wireless AMR networks.

The A7136 delivers a programmable transmit power of up to +20 dBm, ensuring robust communication over long distances, while its maximum data rate of 1 Mbps provides sufficient bandwidth for fast telemetry and control signals. The device is optimized for battery-powered applications, offering ultra-low current consumption in both receive and deep sleep modes, which prolongs battery life in remote sensor nodes.

Equipped with flexible modulation schemes (FSK/GFSK, 4FSK/4GFSK, and OOK) and strong interference resistance, the A7136 provides reliable wireless links even in congested RF environments. Advanced packet handling features—including FIFO buffers, Forward Error Correction (FEC), Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC), and Manchester encoding—simplify MCU integration and improve communication reliability.

Additional built-in features such as Automatic Frequency Compensation (AFC), RSSI, auto calibration, DC-DC converter, and Wake-on-RX (WOR) enable energy-efficient operation, precise frequency stability, and intelligent channel selection. Control is straightforward via a 3- or 4-wire SPI interface, making the A7136 suitable for smart meters, TPMS, home automation, industrial monitoring, and other wireless telemetry systems.
