The A5133 is a low-cost 5.8 GHz FSK transceiver supporting data rates up to 4 Mbps via a 3- or 4-wire SPI interface. It features 64-byte TX/RX FIFOs, automatic acknowledgment and retransmission, CRC error checking, and (7,4) Hamming FEC for improved reliability. Integrated functions include RSSI measurement, a thermal sensor, data whitening, and a hardware AES-128 engine for secure communication.
Power modes (sleep, idle, standby, TX, RX) are controlled through SPI strobe commands, while GIO1 and GIO2 pins provide status outputs or interrupt signals. With its built-in packet handling, encryption, and low-power operation, the A5133 simplifies MCU-based wireless designs for applications such as telemetry, sensor networks, and remote control systems.
