Hisense SFF transceivers are specifically designed for compliance to the ITU-T G.984 standard. These 2×10 pinning modules feature low power consumption performance with full feature implementation to enable usage in Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON), Fibre to the Home (FTTH), Fibre to the Building (FTTB), and Fibre to the Curb (FTTC).
Data transmission rates are 2.488 Gb/s downstream and 1.244 Gb/s upstream, bi-directionally over one single mode fiber using a 1310 nm DFB (Distributed Feed-Back) transmitter and a 1490 nm receiver.
Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) functions include module temperature and voltage levels, Tx-Burst Mode optical power, received optical power together with a series of alarm/warning indicators.
