Coretek Opto’s range of transceivers for POF and HPCF (or Hard Clad Silica – HCS® from OFS) are available in different form factors with varying connector types and pinning options.
Data-rates supported start at 10 Mb/s for the Fast Ethernet transceiver type and from 125 Mb/s for the Gigabit transceiver version.
All products have been qualified according to Telcordia GR-468-CORE and meet EMC and eye safety standards according to IEC and FDA.
Additional design efforts have been made to ensure superior ESD and EMC performance whilst maintaining excellent optical / electrical characteristics.

- Digital Diagnostic Monitoring Interface (DDMI) according to the SFF-8472 MSA with additional functionality for POF link budget
- Class 1 laser product compliance according to IEC 60825-1 Ed.2: 2007-03 and FDA 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11.
- 1 mm POF or 200 µm HPCF/HCS
- Transceivers incorporate industry standard electronics to allow simple interfacing to most SerDes, PHY and FPGAs
- Robust mechanical designs with excellent shielding delivering excellent EMI performance
- 2×6 SFF transceiver available additionally as non-Rx-squelch (NSQ) version
- 3.3 V supply voltage with low power consumption
