EDFA (Erbium Doped Fibre Amplifier) and RA (Raman Amplifier) systems demand high-performance specialty components with stable optical characteristics over a long product lifetime.
The OA product range includes 2- and 4-channel pump combiners, EDFA Gain Flattening Filters (GFF), Polarisation Insensitive (PI) and Polarisation Maintaining (PM) optical isolators, and hybrid components such as beam splitter-optical circulators.

- Pump combiners on both 2- and 4-channel configuration for EDFA and RA with low insertion loss and high channel isolation in an extremely small package
- PI optical isolators with low Polarisation Dependent Loss (PDL) and low polarisation sensitivity with both single stage and dual stage options available
- Free-space single or dual stage isolators for optical transmitters and laser diode assemblies and pigtail isolators for tuneable or semiconductor laser modules
- GFF EDFA components use TTF (Thin-Film Filter) technology and metal-bonded micro-optics providing high stability, low insertion losses, and flat spectral gain with an epoxy-free optical path.
- PM optical isolators with high isolation for 850 nm and 980 nm with high extinction ratio performance
- Hybrid component combinations to include GFF-isolator, edge filter-isolator, PM beam splitter-circulator, tap coupler-isolator, and WDM-tap coupler-isolator
