The 1U 12-Slot Media Converter Rack-Mount Chassis is designed to accommodate chassis-based mini media converters. Built as a standard 19-inch, 1U-height rack-mount chassis, it installs easily into any standard equipment rack.
This chassis allows multiple mini media converters to be centrally installed alongside other network devices, providing significant space savings while maintaining clean, organised cabling. It is ideal for data centers, enterprise networks, and telecom environments where efficient rack utilisation is critical.
The chassis supports its own universal AC/DC or DC/DC power supply. For maximum power reliability, an optional redundant power supply can be installed. The active/standby power configuration ensures continuous, uninterrupted system operation, making the chassis suitable for mission-critical network deployments.
