The Firecomms media converter and switch products both make use of the simplicity of the Optolock® plug-free POF locking system allowing installation of a pair of media converters or media converter to switch with minimal effort and time.
The PHY IC used inside these products encompass efficient data handling to enable excellent quality of service (QoS) for applications such as video streaming, home networking (set top box – router), medical applications and industrial networking for secure data communications.
Media converter kits and accessories are available to allow one-stop shopping and easy network configuration, upgrade, or extension.
