AGx photodiodes are broadband photodetectors with tailored performance to meet the requirements of each analogue application based on bandwidth and packaging requirements.
The highest performance PPDK photodiodes have been optimised with a RF (Radio Frequency) bandwidth of over 6 GHz making them ideally suitable for CATV node receivers in both forward and return path broadband video transport, FTTx receivers, EDFA and network monitoring, and high channel satellite signal transmission.
For cost sensitive applications, the SC receptacle metal housing can prove to be the more suitable alternative whilst maintaining performance due to its solid mechanical design.
