AGx can offer laser solutions for RFoG (Radio Frequency over Glass) that enable extension of classic coaxial networks and as thus creating seamless deployment of extended network reaches with increased bandwidths and cost savings in maintenance over time.
Support for DOCSIS 3.1 via optical fiber is achieved through deployment of 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelength components enabling FTTh (Fiber to the home) and FTTb (Fiber to the basement) integration into existing copper-only networks.
Further analogue high-performance lasers designed for satellite and microwave communications applications including delay lines are available with frequencies up to and beyond 10 GHz. For full range of laser products refer to product listings based on footprint requirements.

Range features
A high level overview of what this range offers
- RFoG or RFoF (Radio Frequency over Fiber) technology delivers high bandwidth performance over single mode fiber replacing older coaxial-based infrastructures within a HFC network
- RFoG lasers combined with suitable photodiodes enable link distances of about 50 km
- AGx lasers for RFoF help deliver several performance benefits to traditional networks to include very low signal loss (< 0.5 dB/km), flat frequency response, low power consumption, and long lifetime due to high reliability
- Lasers in coaxial and butterfly footprints for applications to include 5G networks, video transport, CATV, antenna remoting, radar, analogue signal processing, and military applications
- Solutions for CATV forward path and return path with support for 1310 nm, 1550 nm, CWDM, and DWDM ITU wavelengths
- AGx can offer fast response and turnaround times for many customisation options to include changes to pinning, packaging, clamp options, fiber pigtails, and connectorisation
