SparkLAN Wireless Modules FAQ – Product Families, Form Factors, Industrial Wi-Fi
SparkLAN FAQ – your questions, our answers
We work with SparkLAN, a leading provider of industrial Wi-Fi modules and RF wireless solutions, founded in 2002. SparkLAN covers a very wide range of wireless form factors (M.2, mini PCIe, SiP, SOM, USB) for industrial and commercial applications.
We offer SparkLAN wireless solutions across four main product families that cover most embedded and industrial use cases. This includes M.2 Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules for modern embedded and panel PCs, classic mini PCIe wireless cards for long-lifecycle and retrofit designs, very compact embedded or SiP combo modules for customers who use their own carrier boards and still want pre-certified radio technology, as well as cellular and add-on options such as 5G/RedCap, matching antennas and evaluation hardware. This structure allows us to pick exactly the form factor and wireless generation (Wi-Fi 5, 6, 6E or 7) that fits your mechanical design, temperature range and certification strategy.
Yes. SparkLAN has Qualcomm-basierte Wi-Fi-6/6E-Module (M.2 WNFQ-268AXI(BT), mini PCIe WPEQ-268AXI(BT)) and it is rolling out Wi-Fi-7 M.2 modules with BT 5.4. We can help you select the right generation for your design.
SparkLAN works with several silicon vendors; many industrial cards on the site right now are Qualcomm-based (QCN/WCN series), there are also Broadcom-/Realtek-basierte options. Tell us your preferred chipset and we check equivalences.
Most current industrial modules come with multi-country regulatory packages (CE, FCC, IC; often also MIC/TELEC). This can significantly shorten your approval time; details depend on antenna, enclosure and host. We help you validate whether you can leverage the existing SparkLAN certifications.
Yes. Current Wi-Fi-6E/tri-band devices can run 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz + 6 GHz concurrently (DBDC), which is useful for AP-plus-client or service-channel scenarios.
Yes. SparkLAN is open to OEM/ODM customisations (for example pre-flashed firmware, alternative antennas/connectors, private label or market-specific regulatory options). We coordinate these requests together with SparkLAN and our Wireless Technology Centre, so you do not have to handle the technical dialogue with the factory on your own. Our WTC can review your RF/mechanical constraints, propose antenna options, and check whether the requested change is still covered by existing certifications or if a re-test is needed. This way you get a realistic MOQ, lead time and NRE upfront.
Yes. We are an official partner for SparkLAN in Europe and can support you locally (technical clarification, samples, pricing, logistics).
