The LR2021 is a fourth-generation LoRa® transceiver that supports both terrestrial and SATCOM networks across sub-GHz, 2.4 GHz ISM, and licensed S-band frequencies. It maintains full backward compatibility with earlier LoRa devices, ensuring seamless operation within LoRaWAN® networks.
In addition to LoRa modulation, the LR2021 includes expanded physical layer options such as Fast Long Range Communication (FLRC), enabling high-speed, long-range connectivity. It is also interoperable with a variety of low-power wireless protocols—including Amazon Sidewalk, Meshtastic, W-MBUS, Wi-SUN FSK, and Z-Wave—when combined with third-party software stacks.
Featuring an advanced RF and analog architecture, the device supports a multi-region, single-SKU design, which lowers external BOM requirements, minimises PCB footprint, and reduces overall power consumption, all while delivering higher performance than previous generations of LoRa transceivers.
