The 97 series is a widely used connector system in common use in industrial applications including automotive, robotics, machine tool and welding applications while also being used in numerous other applications from heavy equipment to monitoring cables.
The connector shell components are manufactured from high-grade aluminium for strength and environmental protection and are available in cadmium or non-cadmium (RoHS compliant zinc alloy) platings.
With similar planforms to the MIL-DTL-5015 series the 97 series is an economically priced proprietary range with threaded coupling and solder or crimp contacts.
Six shell options are available with 128 contact arrangements from 1 to 52 circuits.
