Assembled at the ACAL BFI facility in the UK, the Amphenol 62GB series of metal shell, bayonet lock connectors are high performance, robust and compliant with MIL-DTL-26482 Series II. Featuring keyway orientation, the standard material for the 62GB series is aluminium with plating options including olive drab zinc cobalt, electroless nickel and black anodised. A stainless-steel option is available.
An extensive selection of contact configurations are available that can accommodate a wide range of wire gauges from 24AWG to 8AWG, featuring gold plated solder contacts (use 162GB series for crimp variation).
Various shell types are available with accessory backshell kits, are machined from solid aluminium bar stock not forged or extruded as with competitor product, ensuring inherent strength to the connector housing. The MIL-DTL-26482 specification ensures connectors can be reliably used in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +125°C.
