Originally developed for use as an avionics shared serial databus on military aircraft, MIL-STD-1553 is a standard defining a local area network (LAN) and continues to be widely used on both military and commercial applications.
The standard defines the handshaking, data formats and timing requirements of the protocol as well as the electrical characteristics of the bus and the terminals’ interface electronics.We are able to offer products suitable for test and simulation, embedded avionics interfaces, avionics I/O computers and potable USB testers all with MIL-STD-1553.
