X300 Series Compact Cellular IoT Gateway Solution

The X300 is suitable for various industries, including digital signage, Industry 4.0, and remote asset management. As a BLE gateway, it collects critical data such as temperature, humidity, motion, and ID location from a range of BLE sensors. The X300’s compact and industrial-grade form factor (79 x 79 mm) allows for easy deployment in harsh environments where space may be limited.

One of the key features of the X300 IoT gateway is its user-friendly environment, which allows developers to leverage the Linux development community applications. By utilizing the ePACK software suite based on the Linux framework, engineers can customize and process data now at the edge, ensuring efficient and streamlined data management.

The X300 Cellular Compact IoT Gateway Solution also includes a premium services subscription to enhance its overall performance. This subscription comprises centralised device management through ConsoleFlow™, a cloud-based platform for managing and analyzing IoT devices. Additionally, the subscription offers scalable cellular data plans via the Connectivity Services embedded SIM card and access to Lantronix LEVEL Technical Services, providing expert support and a limited lifetime hardware warranty.

Security is a top priority when dealing with mission-critical applications. The X300 Series is equipped with Lantronix InfiniShield™, a built-in security framework that helps prevent cybersecurity threats. InfiniShield™ provides a comprehensive suite of security features, including secure boot, access, and data communications, which safeguards against unauthorised access. The gateway also supports various VPN and tunneling protocols, such as Wireguard, ZeroTier, OpenVPNTM client/server/passthrough, PPTP client, L2TP, GRE, and IPsec up to 4 channels.

The X300 Series boasts several hardware interfaces, including a multi-mode serial, Ethernet, cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth/BLE, making it highly adaptable to various deployment scenarios. The device offers different cellular options, such as LTE Cat M1 with 2G fallback mode and LTE Cat1 with 3G or 2G fallback mode options. It also provides RS-232 and RS-485 half or full duplex serial communication options, switchable by software. Additionally, the X300 Series features a LAN port with a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet connection, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth/BLE 5.0 connectivity, and an embedded MFF SIM with an auxiliary mini-SIM holder.
